Townhouse
A MLS townhouse Listing is like a house in that the owner owns both the structure and the
land on which it sits; but it is not free-standing, so "the land on which it sits" is limited to the
front and back yards. Townhouses are connected to one another in a row, and are usually two or three
stories tall. They share many of the characteristics of condominiums however the may or may not have
a monthly fee that covers the upkeep of the property. Typically MLS Listings Town Homes are a mixed
bag and each one is different. A MLS Town home fee may cover some external maintenance but not
other. For example the roof may be covered but painting may not, while landscaping is covers. One
thing that is never covered is the inside of the MLS listing Towne Home. The inside is always the
owners responsibility in a Town home or condo.
